Parallelization of a Compositional Simulator

چکیده
We describe a simulator-parallel method for parallelization of a large industrial Compositional Simulator. Our approach is based on domain-decomposition, with a coarse grid operator, generated by a Galerkin technique. The technique is highly object-oriented, which gives a high level of parallelization. Also inclusion of local mesh reenement can be done in a eecient and exible way. The code is run on a SGI/Cray Origin 2000 computer for testing parallel performance.
